Resolve tech issues

We want to make sure you have a good learning experience. If you have any issues with Canvas, Zoom, or the website portal, try out any of the steps below. 

Step 1: Check your browser compatibility

  • We recommend using the latest version of Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge browsers. Please do not use Internet Explorer

  • Here is a list of Canvas supported browsers: Which browsers does Canvas support?

 

Step 2: Clear your cache and cookies

Step 3: Disable pop-up blockers OR add a trusted site

Step 4: If all else fails, reboot!

  • Sometimes all it takes is a complete reset! Try shutting down your computer and rebooting everything. 

Step 5: Contact MNCWTA Support Team

  • If you have additional questions, please utilize the help desk feature on the TTCP website.

Step 6: Contact UMN Technology Help

  • Call 612-301-4357. Agents at this number are available 24/7.

  • Email help@umn.edu.

  • Note - if your issue is related to logging into the Training Portal and TTCP support staff has instructed that you reach out to UMN IT, please make sure to mention this is for your “UMN Guest Account” so the issue is routed appropriately.
