The TTCP Training Portal utilizes the University of Minnesota's (UMN) guest account system to access your courses and training records. When you first set up your Training Portal, you created a UMN guest account. This is where you will update your email address and/or name through the steps below.

IMPORTANT: If you can't remember your account information, DO NOT create a new account. You will lose access to your training portal. Please submit a ticket and TTCP tech staff can confirm your account details.

Step 1: Update your guest account through my-account.umn.edu

Log in to your guest account with the email and password you used when you originally set up your training portal profile. (Additionally you can follow these instructions if you need to reset your password.)

NOTE: If you do not have access to the email and password you used when you originally set up your training portal profile anymore, you will need to contact UMN IT to request they update your email and password for you. Call 612-301-4357, press 1, to speak to a representative. Be sure to mention this is regarding your "guest account" so you are routed appropriately.

If you are able to login, click on Modify Guest Account on the left column and you will be able to modify your personal information, including your name and email address and password if needed.

Step 2: Before you log into your Training Portal, submit a help ticket.

The tech team needs to update your email in your TTCP Training Portal and merge accounts if you have more than one.

1. Submit a ticket.

2. Let the team know that you've updated your UMN guest account.

3. Select Updated Email in the Type dropdown.

4. Enter your previous and new emails and any other relevant information.

5. Click the Submit button.
