UMN password expire email (it is not spam)

The UMN guest account expires 1 year from the date the account was created or reset. You can login here http://my-account.umn.edu/ to see when your password is set to expire.

UMN will send automatic emails several times prior to the expiration date as a reminder to update your password. These emails will come from accounts@umn.edu and they will be from the Identity Management Team. They contain directions for resetting your password. These directions are also in the article linked below.

How do I reset my password?

If you forget to change your password by the expiration date, you will not lose any information or records. You will have to contact UMN IT directly at 612-301-4357. This number is available 24/7. Make sure to specify that this is for a guest account.

The purpose of this process is for the security of your information.
